Data We Process

Data may include account information, email addresses, profile details, classroom or board content, uploaded files, collaboration activity, product usage signals, support messages, and billing-related information.

Teachers and users are responsible for making sure that any content they add to Fresque complies with applicable school, institutional, and privacy requirements.

Storage and Hosting

Fresque hosts the application and stores application data on its own servers in Germany, operated on Hetzner infrastructure. This includes the database, authentication, file storage, and related backend services needed to run the product.

When you use Fresque, technical data such as IP addresses, request metadata, application logs, and runtime information may be processed on these servers to deliver, secure, monitor, and maintain the service.

Payments

Fresque uses Stripe to process payments, subscriptions, invoices, and billing administration. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Fresque. Fresque may store billing status, plan, invoice references, customer identifiers, and related records needed to manage subscriptions.

Service Providers

Fresque relies on selected service providers to operate parts of the service. For example, Stripe processes payments. Hetzner provides the data centre and infrastructure on which Fresque's German servers run. These providers process data on Fresque's behalf or as independent controllers where required for payment and compliance purposes.

Retention and Rights

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide Fresque, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, secure the service, and enforce agreements. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
